Alternate DiMansion Diary Walkthrough & Guide

Welcome to Alternate DiMansion Diary Walkthrough & Guide, which helps you to unlock all the events and scenes with all the available characters.

This walkthrough is based on v1.1.0.

SCENE 1 – Alternate DiMansion Diary Walkthrough & Guide

Enter the house, go to the west wing and examine the last painting.

Return to the entrance hallway, examine the top-left corner of the carpet for a key.

Enter the first room in the west wing (Dining Room), go to the back room (kitchen) and pull the lever.

Return to hallway, go upstairs and pick up key from the top left, near the mirror.

Open the bottom left room of the second floor (Guest Room 1), and examine the mask.

Step on every tile once without leaving (see GR1.jpg), and saerch the drawer for a key.

Enter Guest Room 2 (the room above this one).

SCENE 2 – Alternate DiMansion Diary Walkthrough & Guide

Examine the mask and the painting in Guest Room 2.

Follow the snake’s path around the benches in the Stage Room, north of the 1F hallway (URULDLUURRUL).

Pick up the key, and go back up to 2F and enter the bottom-right room.

Pick up the items on the floor, put them in their places, and open the wardrobe.

Try to leave the house via the front door.

Enter the east wing, cross the beam, then examine the green painting in the corridor.

Enter the left door, examine the bath in the back room, the basket in the changing room, then get in the bath.

Before heading back to the beam, grab the dustcloth on the shelf.

SCENE 3 – Alternate DiMansion Diary Walkthrough & Guide

Try to clean the mirror on the 2F.

Wet the dustcloth in the kitchen sink, then clean the mirror and examine it afterwards.

Enter the passage to the mirror dungeon, and navigate it as follows:

From the entrance, take the leftmost mirror. Go north and enter the first mirror you come to.

Follow the twisting corridor and enter the mirror at the end. Walk north past the candle and pick up the hammer.

Enter the mirror you last used, then immediately turn around and use the mirror you came out of again.

Walk to the east, and you should see three mirrors in a row. Break the one in the middle.

Follow the narrow path and examine the mirror at the end.

SCENE 4 – Alternate DiMansion Diary Walkthrough & Guide

After waking up, pick up the blue ball next to the mirror.

Return to the Dining Room, eat the meal, and examine the plate afterwards.

Go to the Statue Room at the end of the west wing.

Rotate the statues so that red faces blue, blue faces red. Brown faces green, and green faces blue.

Grab the key from the corner of the room, and open the door at the top.

Pick up the red key from the bookcase, and the ladder in the corner.

Grab the screwdriver from the fridge in the kitchen, and get the stones from red statue.

Put the stones in the mask in Guest Room 2, grab the flashlight.

While you’re up here, examine the right ‘eye’ of the tile pattern in Guest Room 1 for a key.

Return to the east wing, bypassing the beam via the walkway.

Enter the second door, solve the puzzle with 2B,1G on one side, 1R, 2G on the other.

Try to enter the room at the back, then examine the grate on the wall to remove it.

Put the blue ball in the hole behind the grate, then rearrange the lights to 2B,3G and 1R,1B.

Grab the battery from the right side of the room and enter the door at the back.

In the dark room, get the extinguishing agent from the drawer in the top-left, then try to leave.

SCENE 5 – Alternate DiMansion Diary Walkthrough & Guide

SCENE 6 – Alternate DiMansion Diary Walkthrough & Guide

Go back to the beam and try to cross it.

SCENE 7

Enter the stage room again.

SCENE 8

Afterwards, leave the house by the front door. If you exit the grounds now, you will get the second ending (“Memories”).

Instead, look for a fallen dog statue on the east side, pointing north. Walk up from there and examine the wall for the dog medal.

You’ll need to interact with the door four times before Sae will go back in to the house.

Inside, revisit the mirror world (thankfully, you don’t have to navigate the maze again).

SCENE 9

There’s another scene if you return to the bath. Say hello to the helpers on the way.

SCENE 10

Return to the stage room for this scene.

TRUE ENDING – Alternate DiMansion Diary Walkthrough & Guide

You should already have the blue, red, and green keys. The yellow key is in the wardrobe in Guest Room 3.

Use the keys to unlock the four books in the library (the top-right room on 2F), and read each.

These are clues for the medals. You will already have the fish and dog medals.

The bird medal is behind the painting on 2F, you’ll need to examine the left side.

The turtle medal is under the right-hand stairs in the hallway.

With the four medals, go to the second room in the west wing and place all four in their slots.

Go through the door, down the stairs, and into the last room for the true ending.

AFTER STORY SCENE 1

The “After Story” is accessible from the title screen once you have seen the true ending.

For the first scene, you can find Yuuki in Guest Room 2.

AFTER STORY SCENE 2

Tomoe is found in the kitchen.

AFTER STORY SCENE 3

To view Tomoe’s second scene, go examine Yuuki near the 2F mirror, then revisit the kitchen.

Afterwards, enter the dark room (the one in the east wing, at the back of the puzzle room).

AFTER STORY SCENE 4

Enter the stage room to view the final scene.

After completing the after story, the new scenes can be accessed via the gallery portal in the hallway.

There’s a secret message from the developer if you walk through the right-hand wall in the second gallery.
